  • Left handlebar control wiring question

I disassembled, powdercoated and cleaned my left controls. Everything is back together except for a single black wire with a ring terminal attached.

Can't remember where this wire connects to. Any ideas?

That's a ground wire, it should go under one of the switch screws. I'll also note that hopefully you didn't coat the inside of the housings, as that can insulate the switches from ground. If you did, scrape the coating off where the screws are...

Thanks. I knew it was a ground wire and was trying to identify which screw it goes under. Being a ground, I guess it doesn't really matter as long as it grounds the left control.
