Back still isn't too good yet so I haven't been able to bend over Spica to finish her but I did spend some time sitting at a table putting a couple banks of carbs back together. I'd purchased a set and had them delivered by snail mail. When they arrived, I found them damaged.
You can't really see it in this photo but the throat is actually out of round.
I wasn't too worried about the inside other than having the piece come loose and pulled into the motor, I was more concerned with getting a proper seal in the manifold. Took it to a friend with a tig welder and he made the repair and put it back to round.
Of course it had to be number two carb but I think it will be fine now. I also noticed that on the number four carb a piece of the lip around the bowl seat is broken off as well. About a half inch missing but I doubt it will cause any problems. The post office wonders why they are losing business.
