    Gender agenda

    Hi Folks

    As a matter of interest.....I'd like to know what gender people think of their XS's as? You often see people on the forum talk of 'she' but then see male sounding names. I'm wondering if the styling of the bike is the critical thing, as opposed to performance.

      Anyone who calls their bike "she" is a weirdo. It's never a "he", even for a woman rider.

      It's an "it", or a "b4$t4rd" or a "b!tch" when "it" don't perform. Oh yeah, not forgetting "you fooker".

        Lets see, it is beautiful, costs me a lot of money, wants to show off its gold, has nice jugs and a great looking rear end, gets hot when I push its bottons and I still can't wait till the next time I get to ride her, I am guessing its a SHE

                  Of my two, the XS400 is definitely a she, but my XS11 is very much a he. I'm not saying that is true of all of them, as I feel every vehicle has a personality. My Camaro definitely feels like a he to me but my Malibu if certainly female. It takes some driving of a vehicle before you know what it is in most cases, and it may even change genders as it changes owners, although I've not actually seen that, as most times, I've generally felt the same gender feel as PO's have.

                            Saying and thinking are different though. I definitely think of mine as female but wouldn't actually refer to the bike as "she". Nor would I for a boat. I hear Russians call boats and subs 'he'.
