  • 1979 Xs1100SF Special Carb Jets

    Hi,
Trying to figure which are the correct jet styles to buy. Bike Bandit lists three different pilot jets that look to fit, I just don't know the correct one to get.

    Mikuni Pilot Jet (KBS30/96) 3 hole http://www.bikebandit.com/mikuni-pil...bs30-96-4-pack

    Mikuni Pilot Jet (KVM22/210) 4 hole http://www.bikebandit.com/mikuni-pil...m22-210-4-pack

Mikuni Pilot Jet (KN151.067) No Hole http://www.bikebandit.com/mikuni-pil...151-067-4-pack

Also is this the correct main jet style for a 79 special?

Mikuni Large Round Main Jet (KN100-604) http://www.bikebandit.com/mikuni-lar...100-604-4-pack

    Thanks,
    D

        Hi,
Thanks for the quick replies.... I'm just changing sizes to account for non-stock setup....

Just be sure you actually have 78-79 style carbs, not 80-81. Never know what someone else may have put on it .Happens .

MY bad. Just looked at some of your old post. Saw where you were playing with needle adjustment so that says early style. Should look before I leap. Am curious if you found 2 different emulsion tubes (hole wise) like the 79 specials came with? I know I missed it the first time I took some apart about 25yrs ago.
