  • New Plug caps

Hi every one, just put new inside plug wire caps on, Thanks Phil for the part #s. My bike is running like new now.
Also, a big apology to all who I offended (and I have been told, it is many) I am just human, and I do and say stupid stuff (me, more often then most). Most of the time, just trying for a laugh, but I did not consider I could be harming others, so this is a real heart felt apology.
I have learned much from you guys, and tried to pass on what I have learned myself. I didn't mean to offend or at all harm young ones that might be looking on this sight, I was very stupid to not think that could even be happening
I am ashamed if anyone like that was harmed from my stupid jokes. I have removed all pic's voluntary and will not post anything that could be offensive to anyone again.

I hope it is OK to say Merry Christmas, I honestly don't mean that in a bad way, just a wish to all, that this is a merry time for you and your families

Yep, 30+ year old spark plug caps don't help any. Lot of people fail to replace them and continue to have misfire issues.

And speaking of misfire issues we all say and do things that are stupid from time to time, it takes a big person to swallow ones pride and admit it. Tis the season....Merry Christmas!
That's the thing with 30 year old bikes, we want them to be as affordable as possible, but need most everything replaced, if not sooner, eventually when you least expect it. I'm going to try not to be to impatient while restoring mine, looking for that quick ride fix, and hopefully, get this thing trustworthy as some newer bikes. Simple things like plug wires, old fuses, old wiring in general can ruin your day if on a long trip, and I want mine to reliable enough to take regular 250-300 mile trips. Glad yours is doing better!!!!
