Oh yeah? Well, I had my spine removed. Standing upright is difficult. Like trying to make a skyscraper out of jello.

Just kidding, all you broken, old people.
I can say that because Im also a member of the club.

      Oh yeah??

I had my spine removed twice---by marriage! But I'm all better now.

to go to a foreign country and have them operate on you -

got to hand it to you though for not accepting the current situation.

            forgiveness

The one thing we all need to be is more forgiving. We all must admit that the bikes we ride are very forgiving. That is the strength of the XS1100 it is very forgiving. It takes abuse neglect and often survives failures that put other bikes on the trash heap. If we as a group can continue to be as forgiving (strong) as the bikes we ride we survive what ever comes our way.
To fix the problem one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed.

              Yeah John

I get that a lot. My neighbors and friends were floored when they found out I'd gone and come back. But at the time, it seemed to be my only option (at least the one that wasn't provided by winchester)
