      It's not rattle can. Waaaayyy more expensive. (I'm going back to rattle cans for future projects). Yes I have wet sanded it (I put the tape on too soon )
      and spraied a final coat of clear. After it hardens I will buff it.

        Back on the Road

        Well the bike will be back on the road tomorrow after a 17 year slumber. I will post pictures in the morning its to dark for my phone. Test road it earlier and man does she like to run!!!

          Any updates on this I would like to see photos of the finished bike. Sounds like it was a blast to build. Starting to wish i had married your daughter. Sounds like a great wedding preasent. Hope they love it.

            Well it's still needs a little work but it's ridable. Still need to replace the mufflers (looking for some Sporters) and this winter I will media blast the engine to clean that up.







            I have another daughter getting married in October. Looks like the 78E will be getting done this winter. (After I get my wife's XJ1100 done then MY XJ1100 )

                Beautiful! I like the paint job you did. Hope they ride the wheels off her. Shame to see it get traded for a used harley. Nice build.
