Another tank swap question

Im sorry to ask another question about tank swapping but I just can't find the exact answer I need.

I am looking to swap my special tank for an xj1100 tank to gain more fuel capacity (and I think they look awesome!) Anyway, this is what I think I know but correct me if Im wrong:

-the petcocks from my special will fit
-the mount bolt area/style is different (that is no problem to change)

This is what I am unsure of:

-will the fuel sender from my special fit the xj tank? (I assume it might not work correctly given the different capacity, but at the very least i need to know if it will fill the hole properly)
-do the special emblems fit the xj?

I do believe he's got an XJ tank on his special. "Zilla"
The special's fuel sending unit isn't so much for how much, but more of a warning of "hey your fuel level is low" light.
i.e. when the thermister gets uncovered, the light comes on and you know that your tank level is there and that's how much left you got til the gas station.
