My wife asked me once if I'd named my bike. I looked at her sweetly and replied that I'd named it after her. She said, "Really?" I said, "Yup..'F**king B**ch.'" She was stunned for a moment, then cracked up.

By the way, don't try this unless you've been married over half your lifetime. To the same person.

Named my XJ "Sojourn" after the Moody Blues Album "7th Sojourn". (Am I showing my age?) Sojourn means to go and stay in a different place for a while. Seems that was what I was doing when I went to a rally. Name happened happened back in 2000 while I was riding from Wisconsin to up-state NY for an Americade rally. Up until that time the XJ was just the XJ.

I've had a hard time naming my first XS, still have nothing after 3 years. However, the name for the '79 Special I just bought came screaming at me while I was in the shower of all places, Heisenberg.
The tank, side covers, and rear fairing were all disastrously rattle can painted blue, while still on the bike! It got everywhere! While I was examining the overspray I kept asking "Why would someone do this?!". My buddy would chuckle and flatly answer "Meth." So that's what I had to work with, "Blue" and "Meth".
The color is probably going to change, and I didn't want to call it the "Meth-cycle" so I kept kicking the two words around in my head until it came to me. I had just watched all 4 seasons of Breaking Bad, on the show they make blue colored meth, the main character Walter White uses a ridiculous alias...HEISENBERG! So that's what I named the bike.

79 XS650 (engine currently squeals like a stuck pig.)

72 Plymouth Satellite (met an unpaved manhole collar, which it managed to tear out of the street, currently has some "issues")

I always wanted to give my ole bike a name but couldn't find anything appropriate. But then it hit me as I reflected on Greek mythology.
I have dubbed my '79 special "Prometheus".

Prometheus was the Greek Titan that stole fire from Zeus and gave it to mortals.
When Zeus discovered this, he punished Prometheus by putting an overweight 40 year old man on his back and forced him to take the bloated passenger to the store and back for all eternity.
