    Pads

I just bought some on ebay for $23.-- each side. free shipping.

Just search xs1100 brake pads on ebay. I think some one else has some even cheaper now.

I'll try to post the item #'s later.

Cheap in cost doesn't seem to be the case anymore, no matter what the pad application. Local seems to be the best bet, and at the same ($40) a pair for EBC's. IMO, waste of time and shipping moneys to buy elsewhere.........unless you live far from civilization..........

        parts cost

any time I go out to buy something, I'm looking at $20.00 worth of gas for the round trip. We have to plan and consolidate our buying trips.

So, when I get something off ebay for areasonable price with free shipping I'm happy.

Yes, we live in the boonys.

          Pair?

Do you mean $40.00 a pair of shoes or $40.00 a pair of sets? I know I must sound cheap to some, but $80.00 for a front brake job I do myself on a bike is$$$
          is
