i had the same thing happen to mine once.....i made the mistake of trying to get that off with a 12pt socket. that was the beginning of the end. mine looked a lot like yours. like most every body on this thread said....'it will have to be sacrificed' then look on ebay or see if andreas has one. that is what i had to do.

Hasn't worked out ok yet, but I'm confident we can get the bolt out even if we damage the cup doing so, I have both the bolt and cup in excellent condition so that won't be a problem. I also see by the photo that the trick of catching the edge with a driver or such hasn't been tried, so that's something else we can try as well, maybe even before we get medieval on it. If we put a tight 6 point on it and as much pressure as it will take and then rap on it with a chisel on the edge in the direction of loosening it, that may break it free.

If you want a permanent fix for this, don't throw away the old bolt. Instead, grind/file what's left of the head into a round shape, pick up a common 1/2" nut (3/4" wrench size), drill the threads out until it fits over the 'nub' of the old head, then braze/silver-solder it on. You now have a nice big bolt head that won't strip and you can use either a 3/4" or 19mm wrench on it...

Do remove the check valve before heating so you don't damage the spring, then reinstall when you're done...
