    TKAT brace fit-up

    Here's a photo of Winterhawk's Std:-

It shows a mebbe 2" gap between the brace and the fender.
The Special brace on my XS11SG and the Standard brace on my son's XS650 both snug down to mebbe a 1/4" above the fender.
Are all XS11 Standard forks configured to give that large gap or has Winterhawk's bike been modified?

Fred, I think Winterhawk fitted a Special brace on a standard is my guess. T-Kat makes them for both models. The Special has the step in it, the std does not.

Don, the brace in the photo is a Standard brace. Fred, yes it does sit above the fender that much, the Standard fork lower tops sit a bit higher than the Special. A bit easier to wipe the crud off the fender with the Standard.
