Well, after more emailing with the guy the more shady he sounds. I think I am going to pass on this bike due to the shadiness. He asked me why there was minor cosmetic issues and I told him it was a 1983 so obviously not perfect. He replied that I proved his point and his bike is in the exact same situation. Last time I checked, a major mechanical issue was not the same as a few dent or scratches.
