    color tune

I am considering buying, but the reviews i've seen are not positive, any first hand knowledge would be good. what i hear is stories about thread damage, poor fit, not really seeing much of a differance, etc.

My experience has been that everyone who used it noticed an immediate improvement.

I swear by it. There is no way I'd be able to get the precision tuning offered by the colortune any other way. Maybe my ears just aren't tuned as well as some, but the colortune plug shows that 1/16th of a turn makes a difference in adjusing the screws, and I can't hear that change. I just used mine this last weekend, and it made all the difference. Sync was good, but it wasn't running quite right. After the colortune, it just runs smoother.

These other lads must be piano tuners or something Bug. Every Aussie who used it swears by it too and many of them have decades of motorcycle maintenance behind them. Maybe works better when the exhaust gases are swirling in the opposite direction.
