  • Is it safe .....

    I am in the process of adding fuel filters and have to rerouting fuel lines. Is it safe to have the fuel lines contacting/resting on top of the carbs. I can't imagine that they would get too warm/hot just never paid attention.

    Perfectly safe. No problem with that at all. Mine don't run that way but I run mine cross so that the right pair are fed by the left petcock and the left pair are fed by the right petcock. This leaves plenty of slack for turning the tank around for tuning and such.

        I've had my brutus for three years now. He's able to keep up in any ride I've gone on so far, and as you can see from my avatar picture and sig, is fully dressed, and can still pull the front wheel off the ground if I get crazy with the throttle in 1st gear, even with the FD swap.
