I'm a first timer on changing fork seals I've read post dealing with fork seals but not able to find out the procedure to get the funky looking end off the upper fork to gain acces to the spring. One other thing how tight do the new seals fit, probably not so tight it tears the outer rubber off the seal trying to get it in, I think Bike bandit sent me the wrong ones, thats my luck

You gotta bleed ALL the air out first - then loosen up the bolt on the side/top then loosen up the bolt on the side down by the turn signal ... Rotate it while sliding it out and that's it, loosen the air cap and just take everything out. You might need something to hold the fork real tight - Take out the spring and then pour the oil out and do whatever else you need to do~Jay

Those don't even look like xs forks to me ... You either remove the air cap bolt or the cap bolt whichever one it is and that's it ...~Jay

Most likely due to the size. Those old forks aren't as interchangeable as today's bikes. I got some for saleSelling my whole front end ...
