Is there a specialname for my xs11?

Hey everyone,

I have a 1980 xs11G with front factory windjammer fairing and matching hard side saddlebags with chrome surroung and locking lids. Is there any special designation of this king of bike(full dresser, special, venture,etc?) or is it just a regular xs11 with upgrades. It soundsstupid, just driving me nuts, Thanks for any help

Some of us refer to bikes like ours (mine is pretty much the same) as a "dresser", as in "full dress". There isn't an official designation however, just the unofficial moniker, which became the factory Venturer in 81, but it wasn't an option, it was the only way they came in 81, kind of a predecessor of the Venture that came later that wasn't really a related machine in anything other than function, and it was built from the ground up as a touring machine rather than being a touring package added to a Universal/GP bike.
