  • Where does this go?

    It seems the only logical location would be between the fork and the fender. Then the other attachment point for the fender would require a washer(s) to level out.

    Goes under the fender facing the wheel, between the fender and the bolt holding the fender on.

      Perhaps inboard of the fender, attatched with the fender mounting bolt, as opposed to in between the fender and fork?

        I thought about that, but did not think it should be so close to the tire with those relatively sharp edges.

          Works just fine there. Mines been there as long as I've had the bike, as AFAIK, it's been in that position since the bike was new.

            If that bracket hits the tire when properly installed as others described, you have a serious problem, and it isn't the brackets. In your photo, the orientation appears to be correct.
