  • CCT Question

I read the posts but am still unclear. What bike do I use to order a automatic CCT for my 1100 Sp. Is the part so new that they are in stock at the Yammi Store? Are there any special installation concerns for the Auto CCT on the '79 1100 special? Thanks guys for all the help

1983 yamaha vision 550 works will a small bit of filing of one bolt hole.

The early model yamaha venture is plug and play.

Any year vmax tensioner is plug and play.

    Nothing special for the '79SF.

Yes, yamaha would carry the vmax tensioner but you are probably going to pay around $100 for one.

    Here are a few.

I figured it would be high but didnt care to check and didnt want to over inflate it.

Used works just as well as new, and its much easier on the wallet.

Actually Steve, list for the VMax/Venture was $187......and that was a year ago........
81H Venturer1100 "The Bentley" (on steroids) 97 Yamaha YZ250(age reducer) 92 Honda ST1100 "Twisty"(touring rocket) Age is relative to the number of seconds counted 'airing' out an 85ft. table-top.

So does the newer model venture use the same tensioner as the vmax?
