    Carb Holder Installation

    I just purchased the new Carb Holders from Partsnmore.com. After reading the installation instructions posted in the maintenance section of the forum, I came up with one question. The new holders come with gaskets, should I add any kind of sealing compound to them prior to install?

      Hi, Doug.
      I replaced the carb boots on my 78E last spring with Parts'nMore boots. I didn't use any sealant on the gaskets. Worked fine for me.

          On the factory boots I used a little Yamahabond, just a little bit.
