    choke screw replacement?

I'm in the process of rebuilding a 1980 xs1100 sg. The carb screws with the tapered ends that hold the choke jets to the chock lever did not come out intact. All of them are stripped. I attempted to replace them with stainless steel hex cap screws (I replaced all the other carb hardware with these) but the heads of the screw hit hit the tops of the carb body and don't allow the choke to slide through it's full range of motion. The part I need to replace is #9 on the diagram (it is discontinued) http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmot...8245#sch222287. Has anyone found a replacement for this part? (Preferably in stainless steel so it matches the rest of the hardware)

    Yes,

    McMaster.com

    Part # 92029A103

    type 316 stainless steel

3mm x 6mm long cup point set screw, 1.5mm hex

    pack of 25 - $5.65

Could be 4mm, better check, but if you're on their site, they're on the same page as the 3mm.
Former owner, but I have NO PARTS LEFT!

Good tip I didn't realize McMaster had these. It is actually an M5-0.80 for anyone else looking for the same part.
