  • XJ Pilot Jet Plug

Shouldn't there be a plug over the pilot jet on the BS34 carbs in the bowl to force the pilot to pull fuel from the main jet area?

I don't see a plug on the microfiche...

I'm wondering if when the PO replaced the pilot jets they removed a plug and never re-covered them.

If that's the case, what are my options for re-covering?

Only the early '80 model year had that plug. If you do not have a cross passage drilled between the main jet tunnel and pilot jet tunnel then you don't need the plug.

      Just making sure

I just pulled the carbs off again.. I think I'm going to break the rack apart this time and completely clean and rebuild what I can..
