  • front master cylinder reservoir o-ring?

I'm rebuilding my frn.m.cyl. and my question is with removing the plastic reservoir to gain access to the "spooge hole".After I twist it off, can I re-use the o-ring that seals it to the master assembly? If not, is the o-ring available (doesn't come with rebuild kit). Thanks, William

Mine wanted to leak so I just put some 3 bond on the bottom of the reservoir. No problems.

Like Nate and Greg said, reuse it. That part was never available, as Yamaha never sold the reservoir as a separate part; you could only get it as a complete assembly.

I replaced one by going to the local hardware store with the original. The old guy there opened a few drawers and found one that matched perfectly. I never managed to figure out what the correct measurements were though.
