Will 82 xj 650 stock exhaust fit my 82 xj 1100?

  • #2
Well since one is a 2 cylinder and the other is a 4 cylinder.....no.

Headpipes are aimed wrong, collector wouldn't be right, basically nothing.

Nate, the XJ is a four-banger too, but the exhaust still won't fit....

pretty sure the 82 xj 650 is a 4 cylinder the pic of the exhaust has 4 down tubes into 2 collectors with 2 cans. I do know that the older xs 650's were parallel twins but the pic of this bike is a 4.

Still will be wrong, the pipes will be the wrong size and spacing, the curve will be wrong because the engines are different heights.

Are you looking for a stock XJ1100 exhaust? I have one that I am not going to use and would be willing to sell it. It isn't perfect but seems to be intact and no rust holes but the chrome isn't in the greatest shape but ok. I am in S.E. Waukesha county so if you wanted to look? Send me a PM if you are interested.
