You MAY have to change the plug but I'm pretty sure it'll work as long as it will go on a 7/8 bar.

BA80 I was hoping a more definitive reply.

      Has anyone used this switch?

I have heard of people using them but as Greg said, you have to change out the plug so that it fits your harness.

Not to resurrect an old thread, but did you try this and have any luck with it?
            Thanks

Hmar, I looked at the parts lists and came to this conclusion.
The 79F has this part number: 2H7-83975-02-00
This same part number is listed for 80-82 650s, so as far as the bar size it'll fit.
Like the others above, the plug might not fit exactly, but you can always crimp on some lug connectors and make it work real easily.
Make sure it's connected to the bar solid. The start button uses the bar as ground to energize the starter relay.
