I have been searching for a couple of Y connectors for my petcocks and can not find them anywhere. I have the T connectors but would rather use the Y ones for less bend in the lines. Does anyone know where to purchase them. Thanks.

What is important is that its marketed as a vacuum line connector.
Me, I'd put that connector in a jar of gasoline to soak for a good while to see if it's OK for fuel system use before I put it on the bike.Fred Hill, S'toon

Hey Fred, and Vintage,
I got my "Y" connectors from my local auto parts store also, but YES, I had to look in the VACUUM line connectors section to find them. They are listed as plain plastic...I know there are a variety of formulations, but most are made of a fairly hard type to handle the heat around the engine/manifold area, and so they seem sturdy enough to handle the fuel! Aren't portable fuel can's PLASTIC?
Anyways, have had mine on there since 2000 and not leaks/fractures/melting etc.! YMMV as always!T. C. Gresham

once again I am trumped by my own typo.
It ain't a Wye neither, it's still an angled branch.
But as we both agree, what's important is; does it dissolve in gasoline?Fred Hill, S'toon
