  • Marshall Deeptone Exhaust

Hey All, Was wondering if anyone had any info on this system? First time i've seen it on e-bay. I like the Mach 4-2 tone and fit, but the finish is sub-par to say the least.

I dont believe you can find them...if you do they really are not that good and way over priced...The only exhaust thats still maunfactured for our bikes is made by MAC and you'd have a better chance of finding one of those...I have a used MAC 4 into 1 that I would like to sell...PM me if you're interested and i'll send you some pics...

I've had three Marshall Deeptones on XS1100's. In the UK, they were the first choice to replace the OEM system. They do not require any re-jetting of the carbs and they sound nice... not too loud. The collector box for the headers is a bit bulky in that it looks like a 4 on dice. They always go blue at the top of the headers but they are well chromed and last for years. Have you seen one? Here's some pix:

Wow! James is the red bike and the blue bike the same? The blue bike is fantastic! Ironically my bike is blue- although the paint is bad and I was thinking of painting the parts red.

No, they are not the same bike! The 'blue' bike is actually black and the pic is of the bike pre-restoration. Unfortunately the red bike was in such a state internally that it was just not worth restoring and it ended up as a parts bike.....
