Advice on removing bearing races for triple tree

    Hello,
I am in the process of a complete rebuild of the front end of my 80 xs1100 special.
I have gotten the top race out of the "gooseneck" but can't seem to get a bite on the bottom race. Any thoughts or recommendations on the necessary tool.
    Thanks,
    George

If not going to save the bearing/race, dremmel with a cut-off wheel splits the race.

Put a half-inch long bead on it with a MIG and it'll usually drop out. Only if yer going to replace, though.
