  • How do you get your engines so shiny?

I've seen quite a few engines that are very shiny. Mine is dull and oxidized which I'm sure can be dealt with using polishing compound, but some of them look like they're chromed when I know they're not. What's your secret?

alot of people put in alot of hours and sweat trying to get there engines to shine.... i would start buy ising 600 grit sand paper around the fins and around the non crome areas to get all the tough scratchs and dirt off then go up from there... (600, 1000, 1500) should get a nice shine from that.. like i said it takes alot of time and sand paper. at th end of it all u can clear coat it all to keep the shine without worrying about it oxidizing. but idk if they make a clear for engines i think vht makes some idk if u dont clear use mothers polish (what i use) or whatever u like to keep up the shine. or u can just simple send in all the parts u want chome to a plating company fall back on that is $$$$$$
