    the mysterious & elusive rear master cylinder diaphragm.....

    hey there folks....thought i had found someone reputable that had the part in stock.....needless to say, they didn't!....looking for a new rear brake diaphragm for the rebel devil.....part number 1J3-25854-51-00!.....are these things more valuable than gold?!.....just can't seem to find!.....are the XS guru's hoarding the worlds supply?!.....does this have anything to do with the U S debt crisis?!.......how many licks does it take to get the the center of a frozen can of beer?!......the world may never know!.....if ANYONE can help, feel free to drop a line and let me know!....thanx in advance and as always......ride hard, ride safe....ross

    I have some used ones here, but if you put that number in a google search you get over 1500 sites. Could be that may help you find a new one!

      latest experience...

      hey there rasputin....thanx and will keep that in mind....i have had no luck in securing a new one.....thought i found one, ordered it online, had to order a oil filter to make minimum billing, thought it was a done deal until i get a email from them that they are crediting my account for the diaphragm, but are still sending the oil filter.....in the end, i wound up paying about $17 for the damn thing!.....do not deal with speedsupplies.com out of oklahoma.....think i might have a lead thru here though for an entire master cylinder...will have to see!!.....until later.....ride hard, ride safe......ross

        Hey Ross, I may have a spare. I won't get out to the mancave until tomorrow, so I will let you know.
