    Hmm, Nason is made by DuPont, and that was one of the places I called. I suspect I may be getting nicked with some sort of state environmental charges...

    And I'll agree with Randy, you can get a nice paint job with rattle-can, but if you can get the 'real' paint for a reasonable price, there's not much if any cost savings if you have the spray equipment.

      That's the trade-off. To do a lot of painting, ya gotta have the equipment, but it's a big investment to be painting once or twice. I never kept a real tally, but between the primers, paper, paint and clear I probably spent close to $100. Then to reproduce the factory pinstriping, Vic Kessler charged $200.

      Expensive? yeah a bit, but I got exactly what i wanted. And no eqpt to cleanup!
