  • Oil sensor wire

My bike is an 82 XJ. The single wire on my oil sensor disconnected and snapped in two after getting stuck under my rear tire. I managed to splice the wire back together with a connector and solder but I can't for the life of me figure out WHERE it plugs into.

Can anyone help me out? I pulled the tank, the seat and have looked over my wiring harness, but I can't seem to find where it plugs in.

Post a picture if you can.

    Thanks!

Not exactly sure about an XJ but on an XS it's up behind or slightly above the fuse panel
