    spedo swap

Just picked up a 160mph spedo to replace my 85mph. It seems that they have different connectors. the 85 has three wires and the 160 has four. Now what? Incidentally, I'm trying to do this on a 1980 Special.

The 'extra' wire is a black/white to the reed switch, and is simply a ground. Connect that to the black and all will be good....
