I got to thinking....I do NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) for a living. We test parts for planes, military, and all sorts of engines and what have you. From tiny parts to large parts. I have access to several different methods of inspection, to search for any type of defect. The most obvious reason one would do this on a bike would be to check parts for stress cracks from use (ie: gears, shafts, wheels...you name it). If anyone would be interested in having a part they are concerned about, I can perform inspections on it for a reasonable fee. If anyone is interested in this PM me and we can work out details of what the part is, what needs to be done to it prior to inspection and a fair price.
I have access to Penetrant testing materials, Magnetic particle materials, X-ray, and Ultrasonic inspection.
Let me know if there is any interest in this....THANKS
