Air Filter part number?

Hi all,
I have a 1980 XS1100 special, Today I went to clean out he air cleaner (I just got this bike a few months ago) and found it didnt even have a filter in it. I have begun shopping for one. The Dealers have it for 52.00 Autozone has it for 49.99. I have read posts (yes did a search first) and some posts complain about not fitting properly etc.
So does anyone have the part number for the correct filter, sell them, and or have more tips.

K+N filters about $35, hi-flo and washable, will fit correctly...

I have the K&N as described by Phil. It fits fine and it's the cheapest in the long run.

K&N. YA-1400. And is it doesn't for, they will replace it.
