I checked out the seats on ebay and quite a few other sites still cant find one im really in love with.. I really want a solo cafe seat... at leest for the first bike.
for the second bike i would like to find a stock seat from a 79..

these are my tanks before paint.. the orange one you like has a small chip of paint the size of a quater missing right on the top.

The 79 isnt a special and it will be a while before i give up either, one to ride while i strip the other down to the bone. Going to get them both started and then decide which one to redo first...

Oh I didn't realize they changed that around between the years as well. I like the style of the pan on the '79 and it looks like the seat cushion itself is more narrow which would be nice for my skinny legs. I seen some pans/seats on ebay and the other linked site posted in the beginning of the thread but the ones with that curved back (like '79) had a flat seat with almost no cushion.
