One guy says they have posts another guy says they glue on. Looking up side cover part and it shows no fasteners like you would find on a xs11 special? Who is correct?> thxDEW

Mine don't have REMOVABLE posts, but I can see the permanent posts on the back side of the side cover. It's like they were pressed in and melted into place at the factory.1980 XS850SG - Sold

I think the MMS emblems were glued, below is a pic of a NOS emblem and you can see the stencil cut glue layer lying behind the emblem.
