I hear ya. We do have some very nice police officers in my town though. Last year I was doing about 90 on a backroad on my XR650 with quite a few mods. Passed a police car coming the other way. By the time he turned around I was pulled over and had my helmet off. He came over and asked me what I was dong. I told him "honestly, just having some fun". He told me to tone it down and didn't even ask for my registration, liscence or insurance card and left!
