  • I need ideas on toolbag mounting to forks

I just recently added the Plexifairing 3 and repainted the fork badge - the toolbag I had before covers up the front.

Any ideas on how/where to mount the forkbag as an alternate?

I kinda looked at mounting inside the windshield but it seems too big.
On the handlebar it drags on tank when turning.

Anybody creative or am I just gonna have to resign myself to losing it?

    John

PS - I am looking at soft bags later but like the small extra space.

I tried a tool bag on a standard. Even without a faring, it would het the fender when the forks compressed. It is now in the excess materials/equipment tub. YMMV

Why not just put the tools in the actual tool box behind the battery?

          I have that full

that's full of tools already - in the toolbag I keep emergency chemlights, jumper cable (for others, not me!) a flashlight, leatherman, pen, etc.

hate to lose out on my stash...

I just need to buy the darn saddlebags...
