  • Front wheel hub????

Does anybody know if the front wheel hub is the same on both sides, if the wheel is completely torn down? I discovered that my front tire was mounted backwords last year. I was thinking of just pulling the rotors and guts from the wheel and reversing the wheel. I hate doing tires. It has not seemed to affect anything, even in the rain, but the way the tread cuts through the water would at least be functional if i switched it.

    i dont think so..

speedo hub mounts into 2 tabs of left side of wheel...I think you need to dismount tire and remount.

    Anyone else?

correct. Things are not the same on either side of the wheel so you would have to dismount the tire and remount it in the proper orientation because you cannot flip the rim.

The tire is a cheap Kenda, but it has been doing great. I'll break it dow and change it. Still a lot of miles left in it.
