    Looks Great

I agree, looks great. What type of gauges are on there? I had this big block brick thing that was on my 78 1100E and it was broken. I currently have a speedo from a 70's Kawai enduro, but would like those type of gauges.
Some make 'em, most just make payments on 'em!

Has all the earmarks of one of Garrett's (XS11lover) bikes. Regardless, it looks RAD!

Healthy is merely the slowest rate at which you can die

Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better. I’ve always believed this, in spite of the trouble it’s caused me. Being shot out of a cannon will always be better than being squeezed out of a tube. That is why God made fast motorcycles, Bubba….Hunter S. Thompson

Very nice, the fork covers are a sharp touch. They add a little more black too. It does look alot like the black bobber I sent to NJ.

Ding, ding, ding! It is. I didn't mention that I bought it from you but I did say I got it from a reputable member of the forum. She's a good one. I did have a little jetting problem because I had a back operation and it sat for about 8 months with the old gas. Three pilot jets got, but now she runs like a champ again. Thanks for a real nice bike.

Did you order the big oval pods from mikesxs? Those round ones without the stacks seem to make alot of problems.
I could really use that nice factory air box for the field bomb. Mine is lookin pretty poor.

I have never met nor molested your bike 11Rider I promise! (I'm way down here in Texas)

Just looked like I'd seen it.

Apparently I had (of course that was almost exactly a year ago - about as long as I can hold a memory)

no offense taken. (I will forget about it soon)

I get it now JW. You have a memory like me - I rarely forget a bike either.

XSLover, yes the bike is real nice and I'm very happy with it. For now I'm keeping the airbox in case I have problems tuning the pods. I tried to order the Mikes XS ones but he told me they're out of stock until the end of August I steered away from the Emgo's because of some bad feedback on them here. I was going to get the K&Ns but the cheapest I saw the set for this bike was about $120, so I ended up ordering foam Uni's. I wanted the dual stage but couldn't find a set to fit, so I ended up with the black single stage - they should be in on Tuesday. I have a feeling they'll be good becuase the bike runs good with no filters at all (less than a 1/4 mile test run, don't worry). Someone here said they had a problem with this type of filter melting if you get gas on them, but the listing said they are impervious to gas and on another site some guys were saying they wash them out with gas. We'll see. I still had to spen 70 bucks for the four of them though.

                          UNI pods

I had UNI pods on Rising Sun - spilled gas on them plenty - no worries.

if it spits and sputters when you wack on the gas you may want to make a set of stacks for them. Some of those pods have a lip that covers the ports on the edge of the carb intakes.
I think I may finally have another bike ready for the road, I'll post some pics as soon as i pretty it up.
