    who is Sue?

Dave, are you a "Boy named Sue"?

I have my cooler mounted there - didn't realize there were different brackets for pre 80 post 80...sometimes I wish my bikes were in the same garage to compare this stuff...

Interesting that all these models were much alike in some ways but varied quite alot when it came to exterior attachments. Having said that, the Venturer mounting frame for the fairing has a similar bracket that is all the way across and factory welded to the fairing mount frame. Short flats attach to bracket on either side and horns attach to them. That cross-over bracket on the Venturer is also the mount for the factory oil cooler with the two mounting holes in the cross-over bracket.

Got the horn working and the put the hard bags on. Does anyone have the electrical schematics for this? I wired the turn signals and they worked but did not blink. I wired the brake to them so they would light up with the brake and they work too well and stay lit. Any suggestions?
