To fit the special exhaust to a standard frame, you have two choices (both hard). You can cut the mufflers loose from the collector, realign the muffler so it's straight then reweld, OR modify the standard frame to accept the special muffler/footpeg brackets. You'll also have to convert to the special rear brake pedal set-up (more welding). The brackets DO NOT interchange between frames, as the mounting holes are in different places, plus the special has the brake pedal pivot on the frame, not the bracket.
The first option will be the easier of the two....Fast, Cheap, Reliable... Pick any two

If you're talking aftermarket exhaust, that's a different kettle of fish...
Most (if not all) aftermarket exhaust will have enough 'adjustment' that you can fit them to either frame. As is typical of 'universal fit', they don't quite fit either really well..Fast, Cheap, Reliable... Pick any two
