  • Quick Pod Filter Question

Hi guys, in the event that I go with the pods, where do I route the two hoses off the tops of the carbs that now go to the airbox??

Those are vent lines. As long as they breath to atmosphere all is good. a number of folks simply use a tie wrap or similar to strap them to the frame above the carbs. Some folks add small filters on the ends, the main issue being to keep critters from making homes in there and plugging the tube.

        NP,

Not sure if this has been mentioned before or not, but it is also recommended to create a brace of some sort to hold the back end of the carbs up. I know of one member who did develop leaks in the carb holders/intake boots.

Yes, someone mentioned that and it's one of the things I'm taking into consideration.

BTW, as an FYI - Mikes XS told me they won't have the 54mm pods in until the end of August. Also, I got pilot and main jets from JC Whitney for about three bucks apiece.
