clymers error. anyone?

be sure to follow the numbers stamped on the pet cocks and vaccuum diaphram. it tells you wich goes where. the Clymers says rt hand vaccuum line goes to port 4 but its actually 2. rt hand fuel line goes 4 but Clymers says 2.

Bobby, why does it really matter? As long as the hose gets a vacuum, it will open the petcock. I have mine attached on No 1 and No 4 manifold nipples for accessibility. Of course I am "different" or is it the rest of the world?
