    Bremzen Performance Brakes

    I ordered a set of brake lines and pads from Bremzen on March 12. After much frustration, I received my brake lines, but not the pads. Sintered pads @ $60. They have stopped answering my emails, and if I get them on the phone they put me on hold forever. I filed a complaint with PAYPAL.

    BREMZEN IS NOT RECOMMENDED.

      yea really bad customer service...that's why I ordered HEL brake lines look great

        I managed to get somebody at BREMZEN on the phone today. I'm told my new brakes will ship on or before Friday. They'll have to show me.

          Even if they do finally make it right I doubt I will ever deal with them, and anyone I talk to that is thinking of dealing with them I will probably try to steer them away from them.

            I feel the same way! Right now I just want my brakes. They're the only folks I could find offering an advanced replacement pad for the Special. That's why I gave them a try.

              BREMZEN never made it right. They keep telling me they sent a check for a refund. I'm mad as hell. I just contacted a lawyer. I hope screwing me is worth it to them. Taking action against people like them is worthwhile to me.

              Also, I need to bump this in case someone decides to shop there. Don't!

                  Go get 'em, Marty!

                  In case you're still looking for pads, I fitted a set of SBS sintered pads on the front of my 79 SF and they are great! Only cost me $34 a side so they were good value too.
                  Part numbers (here) are 528HF and 545HF respectively. May be different on your side of the pond so just check the numbers first, mate.
                  79 SF Special W/ Stock all original motor @ 384,000klms
                  Stock exhaust, stock airbox, XJ sump, 78E carbs, Xs1100RH seat, Bosch superhorns, 5/8ths front M/c, braided lines, sintered SBS pads, drilled discs, progressive springs, 8" 50w HID headlight 4300K, 2 x 50w HID spiral driving lights, KONI shocks, Spade fuse box
                  *Touring mode - Plexistar 2 screen, Gearsack rack & bag & saddlebags, homebuilt towbar
                  *"The Keg"- UC torana hubs, XS11 discs, Tokico 4 spot calipers

                    Thanks for the tip. The part numbers transpose to 1721-0238 and 1721-0240. I found them for as little as $21 per side.

                    I'll give it a little time and see what a letter from a lawyer does. I'm mad enough to sue them. Their place is right near FLL, so I just may make them hire a lawyer over the $60 they owe me and go to small claims court.
