Not sure if i worked the photobucket stuff right but I'll give it a shot.

    http://s1176.photobucket.com/albums/x330/barrelguy1/

I bought this bike a couple of years ago and have done nothing major to it. Added the fairing and bags and this spring added the trunk. Living in the heart of BC's wine country, what else could I have made? Perfect for those cruises where stopping for a glass of Syrah while admiring the view is mandatory.

Most decisively one of the most interestign and unique trunks I have ever soon. Looks very cool. And around these parts, would get you pulled over to speak your ABC's backwards while standing on one foot and touching your nose with great frequency!!
Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

When your work speaks for itself, don't interrupt.

I really like those side bags. Do you know what they came off of originally?

Whaaat?? I go to massive toil and trouble to make a one-of-a-kind piece of bike furniture and all you want to talk about are my saddle bags?? LOL

Anyway, I'm not sure what they came off of; bought them with the fairing from Andreas. There were some mounting brackets that I bolted to the frame and top of the rear shocks. By doing that, my regular luggage rack wouldn't fit so I had to fabricate one from scratch.

What sort of mileage do you get off of the auxiliary tank?

You sure picked a pretty place to live, and with Andreas' parts yard nearby...

Mileage varies depending on many factors - stuck in traffic means the aux tank drains rapidly. Fortunately there's not a lot of traffic up here. I used to thing nothing of spending 45 minutes driving to work when I lived in Vancouver. Now it's irritating if it takes more than 15 seconds to cross the highway! I should be down in N. Van in a few weeks - are you familiar with the Queen's Cross Pub?

VERY COOL trunk!! I LIKE IT. How many miles of red will it hold?
Bags look like BATES from the '70's, BTW.
I'm planning on a trip up your way September. I'll send you a PM, and maybe we can meet up for a glass or two.

Just spent the last couple of hours re-assembling the carbs
