one more brake line question

anyone know what the length of the brakeline from the front MC to the splitter should be for a 1980 special? mine has been wrapped once around the handle bar as it goes from MC to split and i suspect this was done by the PO cause it was too long. i think this may have been replaced at some point. it's old, but not as old as the others i removed.
any info appreciated

Hi Redbone,
no idea but here's how to find out. Bend up a fake from stiff wire to the exact shape and length you want the replacement brake line to be and measure it. I used 2 conductor + ground plastic covered house wiring.
