Protapers For my XS

This is what i got for my XS...i'm going to put them on and see how i like the looks of them...I might invert them IDK...then again, I was thinking about getting some Ape hangers...

I actually had CR MID bend Protapers on my Special when I first got it, I stole them from my dirtbike to temporarily replace the god afull stock bars. In verted they are ok, they look decent but your hands will be far forward the bars wont have enough pull back to keep your wrists from aching. Will work for the short term but I will speak from expirience they will get old.

dunno how those other guys managed to install those bars seeing as how they are 1 1/8" diameter in the middle.
Unless they paid out the ~$35 for the adapters?
And you are kidding about the apes, right?

well yeah i like those apes...but i wouldn't actually put them on an xs...and i also wont pay 300 dollars for a set of handlebars...

I used a set of Protapers on my 79 special, I forget the bend, and for me they needed more pullback and there was not enough angle. I think there are Protaper bends that would work better than what I had. I used the adapter.

I have a couple of sets of adapters one is black, and one is silver if anyone wants them email me.

is 28" to narrow for our xs1100's?

Hey how do i get me some of them, 3rd ones down? whered you see them at?

I would not want to be impaled if going over the bars on type #3. The low rise bars are nice on the 11s.

79xs1100s, ALL ProTaper bars are 1 1/8" at mounting location and taper to 7/8" towards bar-end.

Yes, the setup on the XS is 7/8 at the mounting point.
