I tore it all down yesterday and got all the way down to the clutch basket, but I cound not stop the clutch from spinning. I could not get the center nut off because it kept spinning. Is there an easy way to stop this, and where can I pick up a gasket for the clutch cover? Any info would be helpfull at this point. Thanks, Silvtgr38

Easy way to stop the clutch turning is with the rear brake. I tend to kneel on the brake pedal while I turn the bolt.
As to the gasket, you can cut one form gasket material, or most folks tend to use RTV "form-a-gasket" or some other called "The Right Stuff".Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

I wedged a 2x4 in the rear wheel and tapped my wrench handle with a hammer. If you do this, dont go crazy wacking the wrench. I tapped until I saw the handles position change enough to indicate it was free for just the wrench. Im sure noone will recommend this. Especially with tools that are nice.79 Special
